Alex Brown

 I was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. I've been passionate about music and writing as long as I can remember. I began playing guitar as a teen, and soon after started writing my own music. I performed those songs at coffee houses, college venues, and on the streets of downtown Syracuse. After a successful gig as the opening act for a national recording artist, I decided to head west. I've been in Southern California since 1974.

All of my songs are inspired by relationships in my life. God, family and friends. The songs are personal, but I believe we can all relate to the emotions and images they evoke. Songs of hope, faith and love.
